If you're not already using it, i recommend Microsoft's (beta version) anti-spyware software. best of all its free and even better it does a great job of cleaning out all the spyware and malware from your computer.

you can learn about it and download it HERE

It's funny how they turn the coin. Instead of fixing the software they are making new product.

I'm using Norman Antivirus which is also used by Microsoft and for Spyware I'm using Norman Ad-Aware which is Ad-Aware, but branded by Norman.

ya got that right! it's there software that enables the spyware. the success of mozilla's firefox probly was the catalyst for this software, altho mozilla ain't gonna protect people from this crap either.

M$ purchased a company (can't remember which one at the moment) to get the product. Played with it a bit, but if you're doing more than jsut working with a single computer, it gets overly intrusive very fast. Also doesn't understand multi-user setups very well. So, I went back to Spy-bot and Ad-aware. Next version of Norton is also supposed to deal with spyware, etc. Have to see how that goes, too.

F*** M$.

Doesn't work on Win98, useless to me.

Use six different freewares anyway.

THEY all work with Win98. Ironic huh?

No spyware/malware on MY machine thank you.
