I have Adobe PhotoShop ver 6.0 and I am trying to layout and print my own Comp Cards and I have hit a wall. I have gotten to the point where I can print the same image multiple times on a sheet of paper but I want to print different images and in different sizes and orientations plus I want to put a short Bio of myself on the Comp Card. I am pretty sure this can be done because I have seen Comp Cards similar to what I want that were 'supposedly' done in PhotoShop. Can anyone on this Forum give me guidance in this area? Thanks in advince for the assist.

To do what you want, you really need Illustrator, Quark, or In-Design to keep it easy.

It would be better to do it in Illustrator, but it can be done in Photoshop.

-Create a new file 8.5" high by 11" wide at 300 dpi.
-Display the ruler, and create a guide down the center of the page.
-Then, open the edited image that you want to use for the front, Select/All, Edit/Copy Merged
-Go to the blank document and paste it in, and Edit/Transform/Scale it to fit in the right side of the guide. Hold down the shift key while scaling to keep the correct aspect ratio
-Now, open one of the images you will place on the back, Select/All, Edit/Copy Merged
-Go back to the blank document, paste, scale, etc...
-Open the next image, do the same Select All, Copy Merged
-Go back to the blank page and paste it, etc... NOW, if you want this image to be scaled the same as the last one (so all the back images will be the same size) just choose Edit/Transform/Again
-Repeat until you have all the pics placed, add some text, print. Fold the page in half and you have a Comp Card. Or, split the image into 2 and print one on the front, and one on the back of a half sheet of card stock.

Good Luck.

Maybe I'm missing something here. I design and produce Comp Cards for models using Photoshop ALL the time. Here are some samples. If you need instructions, email me and I'll send you everything you need.
