I saw one of those pin-on buttons from Fuji a few years ago that read "Friends don't let friends shoot film"..

Now y'all need to play nice. Quit messing with the poor lady.

Marty, your sister and her boyfriend have sent you one of the finest workhorse 35mm cameras ever built. It is very heavy, but it's built like a tank. I only wish I would have had the money to buy one back when it was being produced. It is a true classic and was a staple of photojournalists back before everyone went digital.

Use the Nikon to take a picture of the new camera a post it. Probably make the Canon look better than taking a picture in the mirror

It would also be cool if you added one of your great captions. I was telling the Mrs about the hair caption, it cracked me up.

PS. Yes I'm a Nikon owner.

Bobby G- Love that man thats great, your killin'me! I've used them both and have not been let down by a Canon (unless you count the time I was hit by a running back and two tackles while shooting Notre Dame U football! Man theres alot of peices in those things!)Marty learn everything you can on the F1, it's the perfect place for a beginner to start. Started with a Ftb and still using my trusty EOS 1N.

When cameras break, the lettering on them changes from "Nikon" to "Canon".

Thank you sweety. That one is different than the one I got. The one I have doesn't have that (new term to me)#7 Stopped-down Functioning/Self-Timer Lever to the left of the lens mount.
The one I have is this pdf file The New Canon F-1 Prepared by: Lars Heineken

I dont know if this will work or not. But if the picture shows up, on the right in the pic, where it says PC SOCKET, is that for plugging into my computer?
If that don't work the first picture of the camera body is the one I am trying to show
