Has anyone experienced this before?? The camera has not been dropped, submerged, struck by lightning, or used to lasso a bull. The only thing this camera has suffered is inactivity.

I have checked all the settings, changed all the batteries, changed lenses, and changed memory cards. I am getting the same type of result with every shot. I'll post an example here, but it's in my GG portfolio for the time being in case anyone wants to check the EXIF information.

The pic is supposed to be of the top of my seamless frame with my silver reflector leaned up agianst the wall behind it. And no...I wasn't trying for any funky special effects, and I wasn't moving when I took the shot.

Please help!!!

Thanks!
-Don

I can't imagine what would cause that. Have you tried e-mailing an image like this to a Fuji service center? Is there a way to restore all the factory defaults in the settings? Looks like it may be time for a visit to the camera doctor. Hold onto your check book.

I don't know if this is normal or not. My sisters guy, tried one of his cameras once and it wouldnt do anything. He was very upset and it was a really very nice looking camera. So with the pic button pressed he smacked the bottom of the camera with the palm of his hand and WHAM it started whirring and clicking. It made him smile so I guess he fixed it like that.
Sorry if that didn't help.
