What's all the hype about the Expo Disc? Does it work? If you've used it please let us all know about it?

I've used it. It's simpler and cheaper to just have the model hold a gray card.

Scott,

I use a digital calibration target. From what I gather it's pretty much the same. Well, it actually gets you to the same place just in different ways. I'll let you use it next week.

I have one and personally like it. I tend to agree that it is cheaper just to use a grey card. But it does work and pretty slick i might add. If you use multi. lens then i really don't think it will be that useful. I tend to use the same lens for just about everything so it really works for me.

I use a gray card, or a black/gray/white calibration target or just a coffee filter over the lens and get equal results.
BTW we had a long discussion on this exact same subject just a week or so ago, so do a search and you can read all the other comments. (search "expodisc")
Here is a link to the most recent discussion.
