Hi. Name is Josh.Just got started in this whole glamour,portfolio thing. Actually did first shoot yesterday and going to post some images tomorrow.My question is What is the best light meter to get to sync with my aliens??? Especially since Sekonics latest model has pocket wizard I want to make the right investment.Help Please....

Just about any light meter capable of triggering a strobe should work with Alien Bees. The Sektonic/pocket wizard combo is pretty sweet though. Just make sure you buy the transmitter with the meter when it's only an extra $25. I think the upgrade will cost you $100 if you wait 'till later.

I use the Sekonic L-358 with the PocketWizard module. Great combo.

Any flash meter will work well! Just be sure to calibrate it against the camera you're using. If using a digital camera, then use a black/gray/white card and the camera's histogram to calibrate the meter against the camera.
