Im seriously looking at the upcoming d2x and was wondering as there is no built in speedlight, i assume it cant remotly control my sb-800 speedlight. this would be a bit of a loss for me as i use it regularily with my d70 to make some quite interesting light effects and it would be a pain to have to carry two sb-800's to remotly control one. Does anyone know if it will control it remotly or was i right in my assumption.

Nikon's info says it supports i-TTL and the SB-800. Says the Master 800 fires up to 2 more, so it sounds to me like the signal goes from camera to mounted flash and then on. However Nikon makes a remote for mounting on it's cameras perhaps that device would push the signal.

yea thats what i thought but i didnt know that there was a device that could possibly push the signal out to the sb-800, would be better than having two sb-800 but then again if it cost quite a bit it might be worth having two. thanks for the info i will do more research in to it now.
