I've seen a few posts on here lately about bad color from certain cameras and such. Yes, it should be correct directly from the camera, but in cases where it's not...the following may be useful.(for those of you that don't already know this stuff)
When I first started working with color, I always had problems with skintones being too green, too blue, too magenta... A friend of mine gave me this little color correction chart. It's been taped to my monitor since then.
If you're working in Photoshop CS, you can simply use the photo filter adjustment layer. Or, you can use hue/saturation to make adjustments. Play around with different settings: %, opacity, masking, etc.
