We have used them on a workshop 2 weeks before. There wasn't any problem with them except the weak modelling lights.

I have a couple of them. They have not failed me yet but they are what they are. Cheap, low end strobes. I am looking at replacing them.. The modeling lights are pretty weak and I dont think they would hold up to any kind of abuse at all.

Thanks for the response, I was looking in Ebay and wondered why they were so inexpensive.

Thanks Z, after showing Dan my homemade hot lights I looked on Ebay and saw these and wondered if anybody here used them.

I have been using them for a couple of years now and have been happy with them. They are pretty low output but in my small studio they are just the ticket. I do have doubts on how long they would hold up under very heavy use but I'm not one that shoots 1000's of images a week.
