Hi
I just invested in some strobes and wondering what the best size softbox/octabox for usage in glamour/nude as well as portrait?

I'm thinking of one 30x60 softbox and a 47" octabox...thoghts?

Also if using a large softbox but wanting to control spill can you drape something over the softbox fairly easily or how do people normally handle that?

Photoflex with the lighting kit. It's a large without being goofy sized. The kit inlcudes a baffle set, spot, and strip grids. It's great for everything from headshots to 3/4 to full length. Just my opinion, but I've used just about everything out there at one time or another. You can follow this link for a look and a price:

Hmm... I am finding that I am using my 36 x 48 inch box less and less...and using my 16 x 20 box more and more...along with my strip lights.. I have a pair of med. sized strip boxes...and I am looking into possibly picking up a 7 ft strip light.. "thin is in"....I know...what a cheese thing to say.,. I'm thinking of getting two 32" Photoflex softboxes. Then I will be able to stack them for full length shots or use them for still lifes or head and shoulder shots.
