Two 10D kits which will include:

1 10D body, the battery grip, two batteries, the dual charger, and a 550EX flash unit... the 10D body's original "stuff" like the box, and the software cords, etc..

I'm replacing them with the 20D, the new battery grips, and the new 580EX flash unites.. One of the bodies is only 3 months old, the older one that I have used for a year is currently at Canon USA getting a new shutter....and an overhaul, cleaning etc..

PM me if interested...and when I get my new equipment, I will sell them..

I have simply decided to forgo my plans of selling my equipment and just continue to shoot with them until they die on me..

Sorry everyone who e-mailed me who were interested in buying them..

Part of the reason for this is because of the poor RAW image buffer...which is less than that of the 10D....which really sucks.. There were some other features which I could get into but I won't.. I am just a little disapointed in the specs of the 20D ...overall, it sounds nice but because of a few very important things, I just decided to go with a 1D Mk II and use my 10D bodies as back-ups..Yep!

Good choice. I was getting the same feelings when I started looking at the 20D specs as well.

the 20D sounded tempting, but what about when the 30D comes out or a 40D?

Are you going to keeping upgrading a losing money each time?

The 1D MkII has awesome features and I could see keeping it for many years..

I hope to order mine in late October..

Hopefully the supply lines will be filled and the price will settle down under $4k...

PS: The 580 flash looks like a winner...

You may want to try and sell the 550's before the 580 is released and everybody floods the market with 550's make their going price a lot less than today...

The 20D sounds nice and all, but what about the Mark2. Sounds like all you are getting better out of the 20D rather than the 10D is a larger megapixel. Not much of an upgrade if you ask me. Just my 2 cents...

Looks like you have come to the same conclusion already, I didn't follow through and read all the posts before putting in my 2cents...
