Just got my Pocket wizard transmitter and reciever and I don't see how to mount it to my monolite. With it just plugged in and hanging it works great. But I see no way to mount it other then ducktape..

Any Ideas ?

Gaffers tape?¬* (as an alternative to Duct tape)

Seriously though, how about some velcro? Can you set it up so that you could have some velcro on the stand and the wizard so that you have some strain relief for the cord? Just a thought.

Good day!

I have a bogen "super clamp" that has a brass insert for mounting a variety lights, attachments, or brackets.

The brass insert in threaded on one end and screws into to the Pocket wizard.

You mount the clamp on the light stand and the pocket wizard to the clamp.

They are about $25.00.

Here's the best deal, you can mount the clamp to the top of any old light stand and then use an expandable closet rod to make your light stand into a "backdrop" stand.

Look in the Bogen catalouge. There are about 50 different attachments which you can hook on to the super clamp.

I find them indispensable.
