Does anyone have any experience printing on canvas paper. I cant seem to find any canvas paper for the 1280 in epson papers. Is there other company's out there that will print true to color. Thanxs for any help on this.

not sure what you mean by Canvas paper but have printed on canvas on my 1270 and it works beautifully. We had to buy a roll of canvas and cut it to size but a 40' roll will give you a bunch of prints depending on the size of the print. Epson makes great canvas and there others out there. The cost is steep (about $150) but with carefull cutting you can get about 144 8x10's or 37 13x 24's. (Believe me the larger prints are more fulfilling).
The canvas is tricky to introduce in to the printer. I use a stiff paper leader by taping double sided scotch type about a quarter to a half inch back from the edge and attaching the back of the canvas to this leader. This gives a firm and easily fed lip for the printer. Use the thick paper setting. Once started the canvas feeds and prints just like paper.
The beauty of printing your own is the variety of print materials available. Most of my stuff is printed on Epson Water color.
