I gave a CD to a model and she cannot open it because she has a MAC. What's the simplest cheapest way to solve this problem?

1. The disk is written as a multi-session disk and not "closed"

2. The disk was written with "drag to disk"

Do you know if either of those happened ?

A normally written/closed CD from a PC will have no problems being read on a Macintosh.

It was done drag to disc. I can easily make another disc if there is a better way to do it. There is one folder with about 50 images in it.

It's best to make a standard ISO 9660 CD or W/Rockridge extensions.

If you are using Roxio CD Creator, just burn it normally making sure to "finalize" the disk. There should be a checkbox.

"Drag to Disk" format is specific to the PC and doesn't follow any industry standards for file format and directory structure.

Question:

I have the same problem but from Mac to a PC.....and I don't have any
extra CD burning software right now other than what came on the PC to burn...
Is there anyway I can finalise the CD on a PC that I burned from my MAC (It died)

I am so PC stoopid (Yeah I know among other things too) .....

Holler at me sometimes Rich....

It might have been written in HFS format instead of a hybrid.

I'll gladly read it on my mac and write a hybrid for you.
