I have one and used it alot until I bought my 10D this week. I think it is a good camera for what it is but you are limited by the type of camera it is. I think I got some nice shots out of mine though.

I have one and got it just before the Canon Rebel came out and now Nikon has the D70. I like it for traveling light. I too have some great shots but the lag time sometimes is a killer. It may be a while before I move up so until now it will be film or good lighting and the Fuji.

It does have a serious shutter lag. I missed countless blinks because of it..LOL Actually that was one of the major irritations with it for me. I intend to keep mine around.

The quality of the photos are great but for action, well let's just say you better like a like of blur. I connected several flash units to mine including my Metz 60 CT 1 but even if the flash freezes the subject, you've missed the shot by a blink of a second. Otherwise, I love the camera. Great for still shots, and even portraits but not rowdy kids. They'll be gone before you can press the shutter button.
