Anyone familiar with the Tamron 28-105 2.8 lens, want to use it with my D100, I think I have seen some good write ups for this in the past. If someone is real familiar with this lens let me have your opinions.Haven't made purchase yet.
Regards,
Dusty

Woah! I could think of a lot of other lenses that fit that better than a tamron. =)

A friend of mine gave me a tour of his new studio (national named studio) in Kenosha.... they use Nikon D1x cameras and only have the Nikon 28-70 f2.8 AFS lenses attached to them and they (for some reason) shoot at iso 400 but in RAW mode......and they have pictures of senior portraits on the walls that are up to 60 inches high or wide and all I have to say is..........[censored].......good bye RB67! They recently switched from their trustworthy RB67 cameras and prime lenses... the shots that they had from the RB's were indistinguishable from the new ones shot with digital...and the zoom lens too! And this is coming from a Canon guy too!
