Re: Is It Inappropriate To Want To Lick Your Subject?

I knew this was going to involve chocolate...I just wasn't sure whether it was going to be on a woman or not. ;) Looks good, Dave!

Re: Wacom Graphire

I just played with mine. The key is to associate the pressure of the pen with the tool you're using. For a paint brush, I associate pressure with opacity. You could also associate it with size, or...

Re: An Interesting Take on TFP/TFCD

This is insane. There are obviously some personal issues here, and while it's interesting to read from a Jerry Springer perspective...y'all should consider taking this crap to another venue. None...

Re: Canon 5D or 1D mark2n?

When I bought my 1D, I bought a spare battery. Shooting the events I shoot, I average about 1500 images/day. I thought I'd certainly need a second battery. Well as it turns out, I've shot 3,000...

Re: Canon 5D or 1D mark2n?

I use a MkII and LOVE IT. I bought it for sports, thinking I'd continue to use my D60 for portraits (smaller, one handed operation, etc.) but no. The 1D is such a great camera that I don't want to...

I have a 4x5 and LOVE it. If you can afford a larger one, go for it...but the 4x5 works just fine for me.

Re: The hotel room

Maybe the problem with communication about joints is RFS's typos/mistakes.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that was supposed to say "below the joint, not above it" If that's the case,...

Re: Creating DOF ...

It looks okay, for a plug-in. There's no way for the plug-in to know relative distances of things, so it can't come close to reproducing the physics that would have limited DOF in-camera.

And I...

Re: Zoom Zoom...............

Thanks for the tip. I'll get a copy of the application right away.

But I'll also note that their service to consumers is just as outstanding. I had a problem with my S40 (point-n-shoot) a while...

Re: Photog Sues Playboy/Playmate over a high school portrait

Playboy should lose this one. They're big boys and girls who are very aware of copyright protections. They were stupid to use the image without permission. I have a hard time believing that the model...

Re: Aspin indoors

I think the last shot is the winner. Is there are reason she looks so bored in all the shots? Is that part of the boarding frustrated-teen culture?

Re: CANON SERVICE

I had great luck servicing my Canon S40. A known problem was corrupting files. Not only did they replace the processor board, but they replaced my dented body...for free. Then I had to send back...

Re: Lean mean and green!!!!

Hey, I like your shots. Well done.

But I wanted to point out that you're likely treading on thin ice with regard to copyrights here. The toy manufacturer (whoever makes TMNT) owns the copyright...

Re: Would like your opinions..good or bad

I like #1. Lighting, pose, composition are all nice.

On a side note, it would be helpful to show smaller images on the web. I have my monitor set to 1024x768, which is pretty much "standard"...
