Re: Up close and personal with Kimmie Jade

I love 85mm f/1.8 and it works great with the video on Canon 7D.

Re: Monolight Watt Size

Marty is corrected. Move the strobes closer to the model to give a softer look therefore you don't need more power if you are staying inside the studio.

500 to 600 watts is plenty most of the...

Re: New bodyscape

Is the model laying flat or slightly turn to the side?
It is pretty good lighting. Yes, like mfharper mentioned, I want to know if you are using honeycomb grid?

Re: Memorial Weekend in Key West

I see a tiny bit of lens flare. (see green curve shape on her right face, about 2 feet away). That is not the point anyway. :)

Yeah, sometimes we overlooked the location that exist. Gonna...

Re: Brookie Rocks Her 2nd Shoot

If it is actual 30mph wind, it seemed that you captured her when the wind is calm, hmm?

Re: how to get noticed

I'm familiar with SAID and Fanshawe College. It is an education course to help you understand about photography.

It is difficult to someone to notice you if you are doing "common" photography...

Re: Photoshopped ad banned in England

Once in a while, I watched "You look good NAKED" on TV. It is a british channel in Canada.

The women complained about the beauty looks in the magazines and they couldn't receive the similar...

Re: Blond beauty

I like the space on #2 and #4. The #4 is a little too much space and the model is at the end of the picture.
That's about it. :)

Re: Had time to post one on Thanksgiving day

She is making a wish, isn't she?

At first, I thought you were taking senior portrait but she is a bit older.

Re: Recent Sunset Shots - Swimwear

These are pretty good. Proper exposure.

Only nit pick is these shoes are not designed for beach or dock, huh?

Re: How did this photog do this?

I'd say he was using 24mm lens, maybe Canon 16-35mm?

I looked at the car bumper and I don't see any flash/strobe. I can see the photographer standing up and took this picture.
I think the...

Re: MY FIRST BEACH SHOOT

Not bad.
You will still need a reflector or a strobe even though it is sunny/cloudy.
This will look a lot better than just the sun only.

Re: Joy - 3 images

You did pretty well with the natural light.

As for pic #1, Where did her right arm go? It is just a nit pick about this image. That's about it. :)

Good job.

Re: New Discovery - Michia

She is enjoying her body and I can tell she loves her twin blossoms.

Anyway, back to lighting and pose,
in photo #1, at first, I thought she is about to fall. This part is a bit confused to me....

Re: When do you need a photo release form???

Above statements are correct.

Editorial Usage = no model release needed (only for magazines, newspapers and educational)
Commercial Usage = must have a "----" release (putting up in your...

Re: Chanel - Arkansas Beauty

I'm a bit confused with the image #1. Do you see a faint shiny star on her top bikini? (near the side, well...more closer to the front of her breast).

Shiny reflective object on her bikini or you...

Re: My 18yr old cuz's Senior Portraits session

Wow, so many wardrobes for her. How many hours did you shoot with her? (including changing few clothes).

I feel the image #2 is really good. Just a slightly off center from the white background...

Re: MAC -vs PC

I own PC for many years and still do. I use it mainly for Photoshop 64bits and video editing.
I don't see any reason to switch to Mac.
The speed performance is quite close.
PC software is optional...

Re: Monitor resolution discussion ...

I use Dell 24" (1920x1600). The screen is crisp and clear. I will not recommend if you purchase cheaper 24 inch around $300. It makes a big difference.
