Re: Hyejin, set of 3

Beautiful work! Well done!

I also like the location. How did you keep the dress from getting wet so close to the falls? Even a small water drop on a black dress would be disasterous!

And for...

Re: Erika

Maybe, after looking at your posting of the two images and comparing them, it could be a sharpness issue that's making it look "cloudy".

I'm comparing the hair and eyes between the two images and...

Re: Erika

The first image still doesn't appear to have the richness of colour as the other images. I've had the same problem when I've had a light directed back toward the lens and not having it screened off....

Re: Erika

Always enjoy your work. You have a knack of finding very beautiful models to pose for you.

The first image appears to have light fall off into your lens at image left. It seems cloudy...or this...

Re: Too hot for myspace

I gave been kicked off Facebook twice. I used to "tag" the model's name to the images I posted, but have since stopped that practice.

If the model has a "hater" or jealous person in their life,...

Re: MY FIRST BEACH SHOOT

Just my opinion, but they look like they could use a little sharpening. And I might use a little curve adjustment and darken the background a touch to make her "pop" in your images.

Otherwise, if...

I was able to purchase something very similar on eBay by searching belly dancing items.

Thanks for posting this. Would like to see more of this type of posting from all the photographers here that I've learned so much from.

I like your use of the grey background to make her "pop"!

Re: Little Jo and her Incredible Eyes

Wow...and she's only about a 72-96 hour drive from me!

Really like the first image Marty. A nice "S-shape" to her pose.
She has such beautiful eyes that I wasn't fond of the B&W image. Like to...

Re: LindaC on the rope

Sorry, I missed that one. Scott Kelly also did a two part article on the Dave Hill style but used the Lucis Art Pro Plug-In (friggin expensive). I'll have to read this article. Thanks.

Re: Michia's Spectacular Return

Hey Marty,
I've only been your way once in the past...on the way to Mardi Gras in New Orleans in the late 80's. If I ever do make down, I'll be sure to bring my kit and look you up.

Re: Michelle - my first model

As a first time, I think you did well.

I'm not too fond of the way you composed/cropped this photo. I would of preferred to see more of a "portrait" 1.5 crop rather than the square you used. But...

Re: Michia's Spectacular Return

Beautiful work as always Marty. And great work by Michia. Wish I could join you on a shoot and after in front of a computer - you're one of the photogs here who's work I admire.

Re: Just abs...

Very nice. I thinking that I may have added water/oil spray to her arms to make it look like all of her upper body was wet with her jeans keeping her dry below.

Re: Angelina

I too think the first image is awesome. But I might of touched up her skin blemish.

With the third one - the water near her lips almost looks like frost.

Re: Chaise

I prefer the first one...and no thong "T" showing!!

The second one might of been better if she was reclined on the pillows rather than scrunched against the wall.

I like the lighting and mood...
