Re: Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L for 350D

Not sure what you mean about "bottlenecking", but I have an xT and a 70-200 f4L and am quite happy with it. I am envious of what you have since I wish to go wider at times. I am thinking of getting...

Re: Tootin' my own horn

Thanks Steve,

I shot this with a Rebel xT and used a Canon 70-200Lf4 lens on a monopod.

Re: First halfways decent shot for school

The shot looks good to me. Reminded me of when we had to replicate a photo for the portrait class I was in.

I didn't really do a good job on replicating, but I still ended up with a decent shot....

Re: Urgent help with external flash

Something I have noticed on my Rebel xT is that when I would put on an aftermarket flash I would have to follow these steps...

Mount the flash
Turn on the camera
Turn on the flash

Re: can you help me idienify this camera?

The numbers are referring to the format. A lot of cameras used to be 2 1/4 by 2 1/4. That means that is the size of your negative. I would assume the other is for a panoramic. You can use todays...

Re: #1, #2 or #3?

I like 2 the best. The angle and the colors look better to me.

On 3...would a polerizer have worked to kill the reflection in the water? Does anyone have experience using a polerizer filter and...

Just hang in there Mike, go back and see if you can figure out what happened.

The first time I shot a wedding, everything was under-exposed something fierce. Only one shot was usable, and it...

Re: Introducing Jayda

I feel for you when you say you were running for cover. I photographed a wedding this weekend in nearly 100 degree weather. Full sun then heavy over-cast then full sun again. Under a canopy and out...

Re: Canon Lens Recommendations

I'm using the 70-200 4.0L with my XT and love it. I also have a Tokina 24-70 2.8 that I use.
I like the wider angle of the Tokina, but you can't beat the Canon glass. My Canon is actually too...

It's pretty...
