What's the subject here? The guitar? The model's arm. I'm not getting it.

Sorry, I really can't think of anything positive about this image to say.
Cheers,

I have to agree with Mike. Too busy with no focal point. Everything is kind of running loose. Her left elbow locked doesn't look flattering.

The image (I don't know what's a photograph and what's a digital creation now days) lacks a focal point. What hurts the image's ability to have a focal point is the confused lighting. It looks like a single point flash was used leading to shadows of no purpose. For instance, an interesting focal point for the image could have been the interplay of the thigh and the skirt, but the thigh is completely draped in shadow. I like the intense colors that give the image a youth magazine kind of feel, eg Nylon and that ilk. But the image simply has no focal point and that kills it. Now, the lack of a controlled depth of focus is another problem that causes the image to have no focal point. What might have been cool is the use of a fast wide angle lense to create an interesting focus perspective.

Thanks for the feedback. It seems that some of you are way beyond the "Garage" level. Regarding the lighting, I had three flashes going. Did some test exposures and adjusted them. I think that a diffuser on the key flash slipped down over the auto-feed back eye and messed it up.

I like this angle. What would have been really cool is her throwing a long shadow against the curtain 90 degrees from the one she's throwing in the image as composed.
