Here are four new shots I did a week ago but only managed to finish editing tonight. Thoughts and insights are most welcomed.

Amazing my good man. When you gave yourself a goal to stretch your creativity you meant it. I like all of these but after wandering through them three or four times I think I like #4 the best but I cannot decide if I would have done tint or no tint. The tint of course almost sends it toward marcabe, which is cool. You get a lot done in your small area. Good job.

Can't say I like #1 because it's not quite a full sillouette with the lights wrapping around her, but #'s 2,3 & 4 flat out kick @ss. Excellent in the art genre of things. How did you manage the effects on the top right (#2)? or is it a trade secret?

I'm not sure the first is even semi-fetish, but lines blur so quickly these days. I don't know if I would have liked it nearly so much if it were a true silhoutte, actually.

I've returned to look at the last three several times. I've always been something of a purist - only recently have I started doing more than just cleaning dust on digital images. These I like. I thought for quite a while about whether they'd be as effective as "straight" images - but I think not. They'd be good, but the manipulation gives them an old, almost "other-worldly" sense. I like them a lot, especially grouped like this.

Again, good stuff.

BTW - I'd be real interested in reading how you did the manipulations, if you're willing to share.

Thanks Mike. Speaking of the small area, in the first shot, just out of frame on the right is my computer desk, and just out of frame on the left is the support pole for the main floor! I might have had an extra 4 feet I could have backed up into but not much more than that. It's tight down there for sure!

I hummed and hawed over the tinting as well as the extent to which to mess things up. In the end, I opted for going for it and am glad I did. Referring to it's boardering on macabre, I admit I didn't plan on it, but in retrospect I think the that with this shot being the most sexually agressive I've done, I opted for the red tint to suggest danger or agression or to enhance the feeling of that perspective.

Thanks again Mike! Cheers!

Thanks Rick. I almost agree with you on shot #1 except that, for me, it's the light wrap that makes the shot. I have other issues with the shot that I would do differently if I were to shoot this again.

As for the effects of #2, I can only say that Photoshop's layers rock!

Cheers!

Hi John. Thanks for taking the time to post!

It's true, the first shot is less fetish than simple nude. In retrospect, I think I would reorder the shots 1, 3, 4, 2 as a progression.

Anyway, time's cut short. I gotta run...I'll post on the effects later!

Cheers!

It is.. that's a 'belt fetish'

Love these photos, Dave. Two Questions?

1) Where do you shoot these images?
2) What 'lighting' did you use in the first image?

Well I've seen these before, but what the heck, I'm here now.

I like #3 the best, and #4 the least, it's not the colour but the amount of bluring. I think it's just a little too much. It's a personal thing though.

The blotches in #2 are cool, but if you were to do a big print 20x30 say, they might look too big. Then again, that's me prefering to work assuming that I'm going to do big @ss prints.

Cool stuff though.
