Hi,
The photo is a little flat and you overcompressed it when reducing it to JPEG so it has distinct artifacts. Typically you will have something arond 40 to 60 K in size for ajpeg posted here and this one appears to be less than 10k. I can't seem to see the catch lights in the model's eyes. That may be due to the jpeg artifacts.

Here is a sample of mine with high jpeg settings:

Cheers,
rfs

Use the Files | Save for Web option. You'll see a dialog something like this:

The arrows point to the three things you need to do. First set to JEPG, then set to at least High, then change the image size. I usually try for about 500 pixels high as that works well for most forums. Be sure to click the Apply button for the Image size change. Then click SAVE and save the image to your harddrive, and then you're ready to post.

Cheers,
rfs

resize images prior to saving so that I can do final adjustments with sharpness and levels before I save. Otherwise, I'd be downsampling the image as I save it and loosing sharpness and possibly changing levels.

Just my two cents worth...

Robin

Its a toss up for web images. I was attempting to give the simplest method of handling the workflow not the one that might be optimum.
