This is Karla, rip it apart guys. I'll go first. I've got her hand amputated in this one. What else should I change?

When seeing this, I am just in awe. LOVE IT.

If i had to change anything, i'd say maybe some reflective surface throwing a little light under her chin and into her eyes?

There's too much white in her eyes; maybe it's better to turn her head a little bit more. Skin tone is awesome!!!

IMO, excellent handling of the subject, except perhaps as mentioned, her eye-whites are too visible due to the way she's looking. However, I think there's too much light on the wooden part of the chair - too many highlights. The angle of the wooden frame also seems at odds to the composition of the subject, rising as it goes out of (visual) frame. Of course, that's only my opinion.
The coloring and lighting and especially the model's skin are gorgeous.
Thanks for sharing.

BenE, I agree completely the kicker is to hot and broad. I was using a narrow strip light with a grid as a kicker for some full length shot. When I moved the sofa in I got lazy and didn't switch modifiers at first. But whats worse I didn't re-meter the light either and the model was quit closer when sitting. I finally realized it and corrected both mistakes later in the shoot. I just haven't got around to those images yet.

Thanks jford, your right the wood is to bright. BenE hit the nail on the head, I was using to broad of a source. I generally use a 10" reflector with a 20 deg grid as a hair light, but in this instance I took a short cut an used the 12 X 40 softbox I already had set up. Speed kills! I also agree about the angle of the sofa back. This was a pretty awkward crop all the way around. I think I have some better examples. When I get the rest of the set edited I'll revisit this post, hopefully with a better sample.
