im very new to this site like 3 hours fresh right now haha so I'm going to start posting some of my shots and you guys start telling me what I need to work on as long as its not a common sense and if its ever lighting I'd greatly appreciate it if you could tell me how to fix it instead of just telling me you don't like the lighting. Thanks and look forward to getting to know all of you.

These are going to be from a Motorcycle Stunt competition (one of many that I cover). P.S. I am only shooting with a bare stock Nikon D40. Nothing fancy compared to what I'm sure you all have but once I get this camera all figured new glass and lights are next

Howdy Wheel,

In most of the pics you posted, the sky and any whites or reflections are truly blown out. Take the last photo for instance, where does his helmet stop and the sky begin?
Maybe Add some fill flash, meter the scene and subjects, shoot in raw mode, try lower ISO, etc etc

If you leave your camera set on AUTO everything most of the time, try setting the camera to "M" and adjusting the settings manually. See how you like the results and practice practice practice etc.

EDIT:
ALSO in the fourth pic from the top, if you had some flash available you could drag your shutter, still get stop motion from the flash but some motion blur from the guy as he does his stunt. Just a few thoughts, hope they help keep sharing
