I know, I haven't been on here in quite some time, but I'm still trying to learn. All constructive criticism, pointers, and/or advice is welcome and appreciated. Thanks!

Overall this is some pretty nice photography, it's always nice to see B&W. Composition, exposure, etc. are nice enough, but I do have a few small nits to pick. In the first picture there is something on the floor (right edge of frame 2/3 of the way down) that keeps drawing my attention. In the second picture something is going on in the lower right corner, looks kind of like a face and is distracting. In the fourth picture I don't like the way that the hair is hanging across the face, but I think that is just me. In the fifth picture it is kind of neat that you see into the float, but it is also draws too much attention away from the model. On the seventh picture, hair again, I'd have wanted to tidy it up

Thanks for the critiques! I never even noticed the clothes in the floor on the first picture until you mentioned it. It was an impromptu shot so maybe I should crop differently or photoshop? The face, in the second picture, was actually a loofa(sp?) sponge - oops. It does look like a little face. See your point there. Question about the hair, and I know this sounds dumb and is probably extremely simple, but what's the best way to fix something like that when someone is posing for you? Again, I'm learning :-) so, thank you very much for the input!!

I just tell them to shake their hair out. If that doesn't do the trick I tell them exactly whats wrong and have them fix it.
