This is my first time shooting pin-ups. On the indoor shots, I didn't have my backdrop bright enough, so I had to do pp in PS. Next time, I'll do better. Since I really like doing this type of photography, I would appreciate any cc. You don't have to be gentle. I'm here to learn and improve. I'm going to try to post several photos. I hope I do it correctly.

Hmm, Is there a way to post from my computer? When I try to insert an image, it asks for a URL. I just want to upload. Suggestions?

OK, I've uploaded them to my album, now what?

I tried inserting the image (I copied the URL information from my album and pasted it, but the photo didn't appear.) I also tried copying image and pasting on here. That didn't work either. Anyone??

I tried using mfharper's suggestion from the How do I? thread. I uploaded photos alright, but they went into to glamour and nonglamour, but not to this thread. I don't have a clue how to get them on this critique tread.

When you are typing your message you will see to the right a box with a bunch of Emoticons in it. At the top of the box you will see the notation "Your Images Here For Posting". Click on that and it will take you to the place on GG where your photos are locates. From there you can select one by one the images you want to post for critique. From what I remember this is the only way to post images for critique. Try this and if you get stuck let me know.

Thanks, that helped. I tried that once before, but I guess I didn't have the photos in the right place yet.

Something I forgot to mention. In the HTML Code that you see after you have uploaded a photo to the Forums you will see the words "Small" and "Large".

The Small tells the site to upload a photo as a thumbnail and the Large tells the site to expand the photo once it has been clicked on.

If you change the "Small" to "Large" the photo(s) will upload from your Profile into the Forums in a larger version which makes it easier for everyone to see and comment on. You don't have to redo your entire post, just Edit it and change the HTML Code.

Again, if you get stuck let me know.

I thank you for trying to help, but I went back into edit. I couldn't find anything that said small or large. I know if you click on the picture, it gets a little bigger. I also clicked on "Your Images Here For Posting!" but I didn't see how to change from the thumbnails to a larger photo.

Thanks for your help, Dave.

I'll look forward to doing it correctly the next time. Hopefully, I'll get some critiques.

I wonít mention too much about PS. Some think using it doesnít make you a photographer. My feeling is itís a tool for processing a photo just like working in a lab with dodge and burn and other effects.

Any way I like the pin-up work you are doing. Selective color, sepia tone, and playful poses work and Photoshop helps with the processing of your photos.

There are photos in my portfolio that Iíve tried to find and post that same way but also donít show up so donít feel like your doing something wrong. I tried all of the categories and scrolled down to check other pages. I still have photos not showing up.

I think you did a pretty good job for a first attempt. To me the images with the old car have the most pin-up feel to them. I think they may have been more effective if done it daylight though.

Thank you. I didn't post all of the ones with the white background. Why do you think it would have helped the feel to have shot in daylight. Just curious.

Also, I thought I had email notification enabled, but I haven't received any emails yet. It says "Instant email notification" down at the bottom.

I'll get the hang of this yet.

With the Instant EMail Notification the GG systems sends a short email to the default email account you used when you set up your GG profile to let you know you have a response to a thread of yours on GG.
