I think you controlled the light really well. I'm not sure about the composition - cropping a bit more off the bottom give it more the "feel" of a landscape, but - IMO - removes some tension, so I don't think it improves - even moving the "light line" down to about the bottom third. In short - while it seems to disobey the "rule," it seems to work.
I like it.

I love this style of image. I would also like to experiment with this type of artistry. Being quite new to studio style photography; I was curious as to what kind of lighting and backdrop set up you used here? Thanks! Great image!!!
