I had posted this in another thread, but I dont know if I was suppose to, anyways posting here wouldnt hurt...
I went to another site, and I was totally humiliated. People were very rude and, well... to make a long story short it was very unprofessional and class-less. Anyways, please keep it constructive.... Thanks a Ton!!

I would say you look great, the photography could use a little better lighting and post work... but you did your job very well!

The colors in the images are very dramatic and I like that. The model is beautiful.

All of them seem a little soft to me. I don't know if that is a focus issue, or just digital softness compounded by saving for the web.

You've also got a good eye for composition.

Welcome to GG, and thanks for sharing your work!

Like you, I like the first image best. You have a nice look, with expressive eyes and great hair.

I second SteveB's comment, "I would say you look great, the photography could use a little better lighting and post work... but you did your job very well!"

The remaining comments are just my observations and opinions, the caveat being that opinions are like faces: everyone has one and they are all different. And most of what I note is not about how you modeled (you did a nice job!), it is about the photography.

In Number 2, there is not enough separation of you from the background. The black of your hair and the black of your pants and the black of the car and the black of the background … you get the idea.

In Number 5, IMHO, the tilt of your head is too much, not quite to the point of the "broken neck" look, but more than I would direct a model to provide.

For Number 3 and Number 7, I am a big believer in specifically conceiving, planning, and executing a shot with the final black-and-white results in mind, not just taking any color shot and converting it to B&W. Therefore, I would not include a color and B&W of the same image unless there was a reason to compare. Also, the objects on the window ledge and everything outside the window distracts from you, and you want the center of attention to be you.

For Number 8, I have the same comments about separating you (and the other model) from the background. Your hair and the hair of the other model disappear into nothingness.

If I had to pick one thing I would like to see, it would be a strong head shot of you smiling (think Number 1 or Number 4 with a smile).

Best regards!

You are a very gorgeous girl and I'm sure you can do quite well in the glamour modeling field. One thing I might suggest is working on your expressions. In these images the expression is all the same. And it works very well here, but in future shoots, you will want to be able to express a range of emotions if the shoot calls for it.

Hi Nika,

Not much to add from what others have said. You certainly have the looks, you just need the photography side sorted.

Try some posing, facial expressions in front of the mirror, and of course you are allowed to smile
