Hi,
I do male photo very rare, almoust that I do not do it at all....

he is a good friend of mine, and I ask him to do some photos in order that I learn something from the photoshoot....

I just finished the PSD work on these ones and I'm very interested to know:
1. How the light fit in this male
2. Did I over done in the terms of color saturation
3. Does the BW image seams a little dark or underexpose
4. What about the BW conversion

All the other C&C are vey much welcome...
Regards Zak

I think you did a great job on this shot. The background, lighting, everything looks great.

If I were picky, I would want a little more exposue on the model's left side of his face (viewer's left) so I could see his eye just a little more. His skin color and texture are perfect.

As far as the B&W conversion...I won't comment. I am learning myself. As I have been paying attention to other work, there are so many types of B&W conversion that it is confusing. The one thing I have learned is that I need to settle on the B&W conversion I like and be able to repeat that style of B&W conversion consistently. Currently I am providing free photo shoots and post processing and I am surprised at how many people want a B&W portrait. When they see one of my conversions...that is what they want.

Keep up the good work. I think your friend has a future as a model.

Thanks for sharing.

(This is where I should post a male model photo...but alas I don't know any male models.)

I agree with soupman... He nailed the critique. Nice job. I think the B&W conversion looks good.
