I really like the look of back lighting, not as easy as it looks. Sure would welcome any tips or advice. This was done with a beauty dish high and to models right rear with 10% grid spot on front.

Backlighting is very tricky. If you are using a direct light on the back of the hair you have to be careful of a couple of things.
1. You are getting some flair because the light is hitting your lens. Either gobo the light so it does not hit the lens or redirect.
2. A lights intensity will appear much brighter from the backlit angle. You can get by with a bit less intensity and still show some detail in the highlights.
