Hi,
Have not posted for a few month... but been here all time...
Here is the latest photo I did few days ago with different light set up as my work is considered... Would appreciate your critiques / suggestions of what I did wrong and what to do to improve it...
No crop I did, no color changing, just skin PSD and levels
Canon350d at 1/125, f3.2, ISO100...
Regards ZAK

The skin looks a little over processed for my tastes. Nice light though.

Can you show us the original capture in another post so we can compare back and forth?

Nice Photograph. I like it and I suspect your client will love it! I like the shallow depth of field and particularly it's effect on the backdrop. Doesn't look over processed to me. Again I think your client will love it. Is that a ring flash you are using?

Thanks for reply,,
Yes it could be that the skin is little over proccessed, I do not think it is because of compression... I will try with next photo to reduce the skin proccessing....

No, it is not ring flash it was big Octagon softbox 1.7m diameter with some reflectors around and bellow... and I find this big Octagon very nice for the low nice shaddows....
Would appreciate your additional input....

Nice job at putting that eye lash back where it belongs.

I am a noob so I will ask the question. Does a majority of pictures take that significant amount of retouching? I honestly look forward to taking the photograph more than dreading the after match of Photoshop-ing. If so, are there any recommended reads or sites for this? Thanks.
