Had the pleasure of being introduced to a new model this past weekend, and took a couple speedlights and a little walk along a private lane.

so where did you set the speedlites? they don't seem to be doing much, illumination-wise.

These were shot with a single 580EX II off camera and triggered with pocket wizards. I was using a shoot through umbrella about 3 feet from the model.

I know that the shadows were a lot deeper without the 580, but I'm hearing that I might have wanted more output to get the results I was looking for.
