Being a newbie photographer myself, I tend to like it. I like the pose the model is in though her facial expression looks a bit annoyed to me. The only thing I think I would have done differently would be to level the camera. Once my eyes went toward the bottom of the photo, I noticed immediately that the background and the floor form a line that drops off of the right side of the shot. That made me notice that the column wasn't fully vertical.

But personally, I like the lighting and the color. What kind of lighting were you using?

Two alien bees shooting at back wall. A softbox on her left side and a reflector to her right. I use a Cannon 40D 5.6f 160.

Thanks for the comment. It is not alway easy to look at your own work and see what went right or wrong.

I like the backdrop colors, etc. I don't like her leg in that high of a position (it looks akward). If she were doing something like adjusting her hose or shoe, then her leg up so high would seem to have a purpose. The lighting looks great. Beautiful model too.
