I can't decide if I like color or b/w for this photo. Any input? Thanks!

For a "pinup" style shot such as this one, I believe the color always works better.

I would agree with the rfs, but I think I like the B&W. I think it is colors competing. Dunnno for sure though.

Generally pinups should be color, but the pose isn't a pinup variety despite the period clothes and hair. Of the two images, I prefer the sienna. The red and blue clash a bit -- and the white background suffers from spill. I kinda like the abstract flag aspect of the shot, tho -- that was intentional?

Well, it was my first and only attempt at this style. I worked with the model while I was a make up artist for Estee Lauder... She dresses like this every day, so I wanted to do a shoot with her. This was taken in a corner of my family room, so it was very limited on space. I really want to try more of this style, I simply need room for the shoot. It is impossible to get a full length shot. (But I am working on converting my 1400sq. ft. garage!!! Thanks to everyone for their invaluable opinions.

I don't think the image is so much pin-up as it is retro. That's why I have to cast my vote for the sepia treatment. There are other treatments, like monochrome and sepia with reduced opacity color that might work nicely for this image as well.
