How to get the "poster" look? Just adding noise not acceptable.
Ideas and suggestions welcome.

The composition and subject are great. I think I'd just suggest lowering the saturation and cleaning up the shadow.

Very nice pinup. You have two approaches to getting rid of the dark halo around the model. One is to set the lighting up to avoid the problem and the other is to take it out in photo shop. HEre is what it might look like



This was done with the Magic Wand tool in PS (about 20 seconds). Better results if you start with a larger image, naturally.
