The photo is too large to really see it. I am wondering what the original looked like so I could compare. Her face is a little overexposed IMO.

Whatever you did to her face makes it now look almost like it was pasted in from another photo. There is too much difference between it and her chest. If you were going for a darker feel and/or cooler tones then you are most of the way there.

I don't know which browser you are using but in Firefox you can right-click a photo and select "view photo" and you will get a version perfectly sized to your available image area.

Its really better for people to post photos that are of about the right size for the standard browser size. That still happens to be 1024 x 768 and 80% of the time is IE 6 or 7. If one upload the photo to their G1 portfolio, then it will save a size of the photo that is just right for best viewing in the widest range of browsers. The main thing about posting ones work is to get it seen in the best possible light and with the minimum of effort. Who really wants to have to change their browser or switch resolutions just to critique a photo. So always try to resize to about 600 x 400 pixels for portrait mode or 700 x 500 for landscape mode (or use the G1 port system).

As far as the current photo, I can't really make any comments because you didn't tell us what Photoshop work you did and we can't see the original and so we really can't say whether the PS work was good or bad. I don't personally care for the photo. The pose is off somewhat and the exposure seems a bit off and the image doesn't appear very sharp.

Give us more details, and a before and after and then perhaps we can say more.

The above is an example of how one might present a before and after.

Cheers,

I didn't do anything to her face. She was wearing very pale makeup.

The work that was done.
1. Curves. More contrast. Picked the coat as the dark point, her face as the light point.
2. Added gradient. Radial reversed
3. Converted to LAB color with soft light. converted back to sRGB
4. Unsharp mask faded luminosity.
