Somehow, even with the highlights, she doesn't seem separated enough from the BG. And I gotta say I'm not too crazy about that particular BG.... but maybe that's just me.

Some details you might pay attention to: 1) Her eyes could certainly be brighter. 2) The small amount of exposed, lower, back on the far side of the line of her spine is a bit distracting. You might have covered it with her hair or had her turn a bit more to the camera. 3) The side/back light, camera-right, is a bit too low. That's why it's lighting her neck and under her chin and jaw so much. To me, that's distracting as well. 4) I think the image would be improved if you cropped out whatever that is at the bottom of the frame.

Your model is exotic. You might consider finding a way to better reflect that should you shoot her again. For instance, fur like that isn't normally associated with Asians. While there's certainly nothing wrong with going against "type," it doesn't really work for me... leastwise in this case and with that kind of fur. Perhaps white fur? But maybe I'm being too persnickety.

persnickety...haven't heard that one in a long time, made me chuckle

I agree with everything Jimmy said and would like to pile on my own 2 cents. The background (color aside) is distracting because its not deliberate enough. I mean that the folds look coincidental. When I use that type of BG I go for all or nothing. Either stretched out with no wrinkles or hung in a specific way that mimics curtains or some other identifiable pattern. Having said that I will admit that I have just discovered the curtain aisle at WalMart and there are lots of possibilities and the prices are cheap. Generally $15 for a 40x84 panel with all kinds of choices for texture and pattern. Get 2 if you need the extra width and the really nice thing is that they are ready to slide onto your background stands' crossbar.
