It looks a touch soft, but it could be my eyes or monitor.

It looks like it used soft light for the lighting. That is to say there was a large light source fairly close to the model that made the shadows more diffuse. This is a good thing in a photo of a woman and in particular a glamour photo where we often employ a "softbox" in taking the photo. However, if we look at the eyes of this photo, they look reasonably sharp, which is also a plus in a glamour photo. Usually a monitor will not make a photo look soft unless that monitor is really old. Often the problem with some monitors is that they will effect how dark or light the image looks or how the color looks.

I like the photo in general, but I'm not too happy about the posing of the hands.

I like this photo. It seems very intimate...as if I know more about her than I should. I think the position of her hands reflects the shyness I see in her face. I think the lighting is very flattering.

Love the lighting and her eyes and the expression on her face. Not too sure about her hands.

Re: So...
Thanks RFS I guess I should have mentioned the focus and not the softness. My eyes are still playing games with me on this. the doctor told me I'll need corrective eye wear sometime in the future. perhaps that's now!
