I agree about the color balance as it is it just looks unfinished and frankly a too flat and lacking appropriate contrast. But the biggest issue for me is i do not think shooting from below with the lighting coming from above with this girl is going to provide the most flattering angles.
The result in the first shot is to have shadowed her eyes with the light behind her brow and and excessively harsh (for her features) shadows on her left face. The second shot she tilted her head upward toward the light and brought light into her eyes but as with the first your shooting angle ends up shooting up her nose with her eyes nearly closed because she is looking down at you and it is quite natural for the lids to close a bit when we point our eyes downward.
she looks quite capable and i am sure you enjoy working with her.
Don't get me wrong - there is nothing in these two shots i have not done lots of times in the past and cannot suggest i will not do again but i try to direct the model to not to lift her head to show me the nostrals and if it persists i fix my lighting and shoot from above.
