More than 200 views and not a single critique, one out of two: either it's too good and there's nothing to critique, or it's so bad you don't want to hurt my feelings.

OK David, I'll give it a go just because I hate when people don't say something to give you an unbiased idea of an image. I sure hope this site doesn't turn into nothing but lurkers

Maybe one of the issues with people not commenting is that's it's hard to know what to say. It's not a bad image, in fact it's a good image. But, it doesn't really have a lot of "wow" factor. The lighting is very good, the model is beautiful, color's great - it's technically good. The things that don't do anything for me are the pose and the composition. The pose isn't sensuous and the composition is dead center which I think eliminates the wow factor. I bet you have some more from the series.

Don't get discouraged, my posts usually get more views than that, some never get comments. I normally wait a few days before commenting because my skills are far below so many here.

I agree that this is a technically good photo.

The first thing that comes to mind is "Her knees are hurting" I think if she were to move her hands more toward the camera and bend more it would make her curvier, show some clevage and bring her face closer to the camera. but you'll need to get a better expression from her.

Thanks a lot for comments,

About the composition, I really wasn't sure about centering the subject, but other options dindt work either, so maybe you're right and it's the pose what could be improved.

The thing keeping this from being a better photo is the posing. One of the basic "rules" is that when you've got two of something its more interesting to make them look different. Unless you're specifically going for some kind of symmetrical effect you should stagger the hands and knees a little to improve the flow of this pose. Pulling her left hand back would be a good start. It would improve the view of her cleavage and would probably lessen the squareness of the shoulders. Also watch for the locked elbows. Pay attention to things like how her dress is bunching up around her waist and making her look thicker and the end of the skirt should be extended instead of being piled up next to her knee. She is also "missing" a foot. Lastly, her hands just look plain uncomfortable. Hands are very important. The problem is that getting her off her hands completely changes the pose. Assuming you want to stay with this variety of posing the closest choice is to have her drop down to her elbows.

Hope this makes sense,
David

Hey David, did she pose that way or did you say "Oooo pretty" and snap it.
Love that shot.
