I do like these very much. What camera and lens did you use, if you don't mind me asking?

Beautiful shots!

Wonderful lighting, great exposure, beautiful models, nice makeup, and good posing.

Geez, what's not to like?

If your looking for critique, the only thing I would have done slightly differently is on the first shot I would have cropped so her head is a little bit more to the right of the photo and not so centered. The light colored portion of the photo is a little strong on the left side of the photo which throws the balance off a little bit. But this is really nit picking and I love your photos the way they are!

PTL,
Lee

Very nice. I like the positioning of the second two images. The first one is OK, the pose doesn't really do anything for me but I like how you lit the model.

Number 2 is my favorite. If you posed her, congrats. Nice way to make her look slimmer and hide what needs to be hidden.
Did you use a beauty dish on that shot or a softbox?

Wow thanks for the great feedback.

Canon body (30D in this case), 24-105 4L lens. Usually around f8 for this kind of stuff.

Large (well, huge, 30"X60") softbox in use for all three, with the first and third shots having a umbrella for fill. The middle shot was just the large softbox. Some of lighting in the top shot (what looks like a light behind her) was actually in photoshop. The other two are just the typical skin smoothing and sharping up of the eyes.

I shoot RAW, and like contrasty pictures so that need was embellished in lightroom of course. More on www.sedura.com for those interested. Feel free to sign my guestbook if you visit, site is also a work in progress.

Cheers,

J
