F 13.0; Evaluative Metering; ISO 100; Lens 28-90 @ 28mm; Fine img qual in .jpg; White Balance Mode - Flash

Second session with model Alexis. Two photogenic 320's to camera left, one on barn doors as main light to illuminate frame and model. Second 320 light behind, above, and shoot through umbrella as soft box to even out.

Please open "G1 Knowledge College". Model reads critiques. Straight talk to me desired. Thanks - You guys are awesome tutors!

First of all I assume you metered this shot with a flash meter, so "evaluative metering" was probably not used, and wouldn't have worked anyway. When shooting with Flash, I often find that its better to either do a Custom White balance, or to use a Kelvin setting which I find more accurate that the Flash WB setting.
The frame idea is a good one, but the implementation just doesn't work here. Since you're doing this in lowkey, it would be better to just have the frame suspended with black cord in front of the model and it would look like it was just magically hanging in space in front of her (black on black principle). As it is the frame just makes for an awkward pose for the model who has to hold it. If she was not thus occupied she could be posed better to interact with the frame.
The posing of the legs is awkward because it makes the back leg look much thinner than the front. There are shiny spots on the face (either makeup or lighting problems). There is what looks like a bruise on the left of the face (possibly a shadow from something).
I think it would work better with a small amount of light on the background right behind her to give some separation.
Need to get a catch light in the eyes (adjust lights).
The red cloth and what's under it should be removed as it adds nothing other than distraction.

It looks like Alexis wants to beat your friggin head in.

Honestly, there's nothing to that image except bad set, bad styling, bad lighting, and one bad mother... shut your mouth.

Also, you are obviously taller than her.... and the angle makes her look short and stumpy.

Burn it and start over. MAKE THE IMAGE

Ummmmmmm, your portfolio......well not so much the portfolio but the images in it are way way way to big to view for enjoyment. Can you perhaps tailor them down a few pixel?
