I think the eyes and skin are great....just goes to show there are many different viewpoints. You lighting looks good. The major problem I have is the blonde hair has a very strong green hue...is your monitor calibrated? Also, I'm crazy about getting straight lines unless there's a reason to make them diag. - the shingle background lines bother me. Lastly, I would crop differently to reveal more negative space - I feel crowded on this one. Again great lighting and beautiful model.

My first thought is that her eyes are a bit too sharp, probably a little too much phtoshop ? And I would also suggest a less tight crop so you see more of her head, and a shorter dof so the background isnt as sharp.

I like the lighting, and the hint of sensuality that her expression and bare shoulders suggest.

I see alot of artifact around the eyes and lips. Perhaps it is from over sharpening or it could be that this image was saved at a very low quality jpg. Either way it is a shot killer. Lighting is nice. It has been mentioned before, but that strong green hue in the hair is a problem for me. I also agree that a different crop could definately help here. Someone used to post here all the time that said "if you are gonna crop then crop like you mean it" In this case I would say that you should back out a bit and leave a touch more negative space.

If this your first shoot you did great. KEep it up and keep posting.

Rule#10 image follows. (why am I the only one to follow that rule?)

Thank you all for your comments. The artifacts have to do with a) sharpening the image, and then downsizing it with bicubic sharper b) the model had glitter on. I'm not making any excuses because I'm here to learn and I know now not to over sharpen :-). I will post more but this time, I will apply your suggestions.
