All the photos are posted at too wide and/or too high a pixel height or width. As a result to see the whole photo one has to scroll either right or left or up or down which is no way to really judge a photo. It also makes the text that people type in response very hard to read as you have to keep scrolling back and forth to read the messages. Why not resize them and then just post 1 or 2 at a time and you'll be more likely to get some good responses. I think you have a nice theme going.
Optimum posting size is 600 pixels high (max) and 700 pixels wide (max).

Cheers,
rfs

Thank you sir.

I've resized the images to max 700 pixels either dimension. I'll keep the series together for this post, but will (try to!) remember to keep posts to only 2 or 3 for easier review in the future.

Cheers!

Thanks. Much easier to view now. I'll try to come back later and look them over in detail.
Cheers,

I've reduced this from the original 6 images to the 2 I think were best. Comments?

Thanks Everyone!

#2 works much better than #1. Let's start with the problem areas of #1. First the bright window tends to dominate. Since it casts an interesting pattern on the subject, I would just crop it out and we would still know it was there because of its pattern presence. The outfit doesn't look very "chairman of the board"ish. That's one reason #2 works better because it does have a more "suit"able outfit. The semi-dead looking potted plant is also a distraction, so it should take a hike also.

#2 conveys chairperson a lot better. I would have liked to seem more light from that window on her face, etc to brighten up that part of the photo. I would also get rid of the few leaves of the potted plant on the right as they add nothing but distraction.

But now let's address the major issue of these photos. What are they supposed to be? If they are really supposed to be a portrait of the chairman of the board of a corporation, then I think it requires a classier office. You certainly would have drapes of some sort and not just bare blinds. You would have cheap potted plants. There would probably be more on the desk.

Anyway, give these points some thought.

Here are a couple of fun style "My Boss" type shots:

of model, Tammy. These are not formal portraits, however, but illustrate one way to shoot office type portraits. They both suffer from the "cheesy" potted plant, and some stray reflections, but you'll can get away with that a bit more if its portrayed as a "fun" portrait, rather than a "serious" one. Anyway, just food for thought.

Cheers,
rfs
