Sure, why not! To me it's in that area that crosses over between fashion and glamour. Most important though they are nice shots, just remember to watch your shadow.

I call this "in-direct glamour" in that the model may be looking at the viewer, but you can't tell for sure because of the glasses. But there are problems with each image and when the viewer of an image sees a problem in a photo, even if they're not sure what it is, then that robs part of the glamour. So glamour needs a higher level of perfection than do many other areas of photography.

#1 has some shadow problems and cropping problems and suffers from very uneven lighting. Probably needs a better fill (reflector, etc). #2 is a better image but looks a little more artificial than the first.

On the first picture, it appears to be your head and camera that is
casting a shadow on her stomach and legs. Might want to step
aside from the sun to shoot the model. Both images look as
though they could fit into the glamour catagory to me.

Are you using a gold reflector or is that gold tone from the setting sun only?

I'm only using the setting sun for this shot. No reflectors etc.

since she's facing into the sun, a reflector behind her would have provided a really nice golden edge and provided some good "pop"
