Hi this is my first post. fficeffice" />>>
2 months ago I decided that I would like to take some glamorous pictures of someone special, but I have very little photographic experience. I searched the net and found Glamour1! I have read the articles and looked at various posts (all very impressive). So here’s the result. I hope you like it! Does she look glamorous? Please tell me how to improve! All comments welcome. >>

Interesting shot and has some quite striking elements. I think the sofa in the background weakens the shot given the PS work you've done. Why not remove the sofa with PS?

Also, when you post for critiques, put the photo right in the post so peole can look at it direct without having to follow a link. You'll get more critiques.

Cheers,
rfs

out of curiosity, why did you decide to bounce a softbox off a wall?

thanks for the advice mr smith I will remove the background !
I thought that bouncing the light off the wall would make it softer on the model and light the whole room. Is this a bad idea?

if you were to try the same setup again I would suggest...turn off the tungstens. softbox on model and maybe try rotating her body some with a little more dramatic pose. The best way to become great at anything is through experimentation and repetition.
