Hey everyone,

This is the cloest I have ever came to having the image almost directly out of the camera settings. Dang... I was close but, still not there. I did highlight, saturation, levels, gem airbrush, and a tad g-blur in photoshop. Then placed them here.

Ok, I have issues still. But, your tips and comments seem to be working.

Image one, I see the yellow tree on the top of her head & hair out of place. What do you see?

Second image, I see the small white part of her shirt (lower left corner) & hair out of place. Is the lighting even between subject and background good enought?

Fourth image, I see the shadow casting on the right side, hair out of place & I could not seem to balance the subject and the highlights in the sky. How would you do it outside of not taking the image? lol...

Fifth image, I could not balance the subject and the highlight and the hair was too hot. I seen so many great images with the sun directly behing the subject but, I could not get that effect.

Sixth image, Hair too hot but, I do not have a scrim as of yet. I am thinking of making one out of polyester sheets 4' x 4'. Any tips?

I am still studying but, I think it is paying off......Slow......but, sure. Thanks to everyone who has helped me so far. I hope you see your efforts are not going in one ear and out the other. I am trying to make progress. Without a mentor here in Kentucky I can only make small gains at a time. But, hope you enjoy the images as they are, art in progress...

PS. Can anyone tell me how to make my images come up in the post and not these dumb urls?

Take care and be safe.
God be with you,
Tony

Not bad, work. As far as bringing up the images instead of the url's, I think the only way to change that is to have them in your G1 portfolio, and use them that way. Keep up the good work, and we'll both get there.

Isaiah

To get rid of the links, and instead post pictures, just slap a the url between img and /img... Oh, and you have to use the bracket symbols on those as well.

When typing your post, look at the command bar directly above the text box. You will see a little icon that looks like a postcard or something. It lies between the globe/chain icon for "insert link" and the quotation/ballon icon for "wrap quote." The icon in question has two little mountains and a circle that is perhaps intended to represent the sun. Rest your cursor over that icon, and text to the effect of "Insert Image" should appear. Left-click on the icon and then type the URL to the image.
