I do a lot of editing on my laptop, and sometimes I am shocked how poorly the results are when I see the photo on another monitor. Right now, I think the post-processing on this one is cool.
I used a channel-mixer layer set to luminocity.

what's your opinion of the image

So do I, although I wouldn't think she'd want to use it as a headshot. Still, it's an interesting bit of work and I can see some uses for it. There's a "unworldly" quality about it imparted by the manipulations. Nice job, IMO.

thanks for the feedback jford. and Yes, for good model headshots, there are plenty of others from the session to pick from. This was shot yesterday, so I imagine there are even better choices. It just takes me awhile to find them.
