To me the first image and the first image of the second posting suffer from the same issue - although to different degrees - the background is more beautiful and far more pleasing to look at than the model. This is of course not because the model is not more bautiful but because you have placed more enphysis (light) on the scene than on her.
As John stated earlier a reflector to shed more light on the subject would have helped a lot.
The third image with the model in the water is great - i really like it. One small thing --- I might have tried to eliminate the small soft shadows under her eyes - but his is personal prference and not truly a reasonable critiique.
I am very impressed with your choice of location - it is awesome.
Here is my first real attempt outdoors with a very bright bright backgound - took tons of light refected back at her (almost fried the poor girl)

this is not a better shot as it has its problems but it illistrates an attempted solution.
